Electronic smartphone compasses can be influenced by local magnetic fields, case magnets, and sensor drift.

2. Permitted Use & License
Free Compass Online grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the compass web tool for personal, recreational, or educational purposes in accordance with these terms.
You agree not to:
- Engage in automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or malicious traffic generation against our website infrastructure.

3. Sensor Accuracy & Magnetic Interference
The accuracy of directional headings generated by this tool relies entirely on the quality and calibration of your device's built-in magnetometer and orientation hardware, as well as ambient physical conditions:
- Electromagnetic Interference: Proximity to laptop speakers, power banks, vehicle dashboards, reinforced concrete, or magnetic phone case clasps can skew readings by 10° to 90° or more.
- Device Calibration: Users are advised to calibrate device sensors periodically using the recommended Figure-8 waving motion.
- True North Calculations: Calculations rely on user-permitted GPS coordinates and the WMM2025 mathematical model; discrepancies may arise in polar regions or areas with anomalous magnetic fields.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service, calculations, bearing indicators, and celestial trackers are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. Free Compass Online does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% accurate at all geographic coordinates or on all device hardware.
5. Limitation of Liability
